Gozo is the second largest island in the Maltese Archipelago and does not have its own airport. It is connected to Malta with a 20 minute ferry ride. Therefore when coming through the airport or travelling by land, one has to take the ferry from Cirkewwa harbour and then continue by land in Gozo from Mgarr Harbour.

When car-sharing, make sure you know the identity of the person or persons you are sharing with. Take a note of their home telephone number and leave details of the lift-share, the driver and passenger’s number(s) and home address if possible with friends and/or family. Take your mobile phone with you. If you are at all uncomfortable with any arrangements, or the condition of the vehicle being used, then make other plans. All arrangements which you make are private arrangements between you and other sharers. The Festival does not arrange lift-sharing or have any liability to or for lift sharers.
DIRECTIONS Once in Gozo, please first follow the signs to Xaghra or Nadur. From there you can easily follow the signs to Ramla Bay where the festival will be held. If using SAT NAV / GPS , please make sure you are going to Ramla Bay on the island of Gozo not on the island of Malta. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES People with mobility difficulties should get in touch with us to book a disabled space close to the Festival gate. It would help if you display a disabled sticker. Be aware that the Festival site is a made up of rough tracks, harder than most environments. If you have further enquiries regarding disabled access and transport please refer to the Disabled information. PARKING There is plenty of parking on site parking and outside the festival gates CARS AND CLIMATE CHANGE CO2 is the main cause of climate change and arguably the single biggest pollution threat that humankind faces today. Road transport accounts for around 25% of emissions. The least polluting cars emit around 100g of C02 per km, while the most polluting emit around 520g. Click here to find out how your car compares. The main ways to cut emissions are to drive less, reduce fuel use by choosing more fuel-efficient vehicles and by car-sharing wherever possible.
